The two main pillar of our activity are the thermal water of Harkány and the National Park of Danube-Dráva with the River Dráva. The numerous attractions of the surrounding interesting for the tourism complete our two main activities, such as the Castle of Siklós, the wine area of Villány-Siklós and the beautiful natural surrounding of the Ormánság.

Originally the River Dráva used to run further to the north than today; it used to touch the western and southern part of the Mount Villány. Along the curves of the erstwhile bed there were hills deposited by the river's send, used to be called "urma", "Ormán" - "trunks", on which the villages were built with usually only one street. That is the reason why it was named "Ormánság". Where the street turns, it follows the banks of the original river. The church was built on the top of the comb. One of our country's nature conservation areas can be approached at Drávaszabolcs; it is called the National Park of Danube-Dráva. During the previous decades the direct surrounding of the River Dráva, due to the closeness of the country border, could not be visited, therefore the values of the natural environment remained undisturbed. Out of the 140 855 hectare land of the National Park of Danube-Dráva established in the spring of 1996, subsequent to the long preparation works, 49 479 hectares lie in Baranya. The woods along the River Danube, on the eastern border of the county (Béda-Karapancsa) and the green belt following the River Dráva, the gallery forests of the Dráva share it nearly in 50-50%.
