The Bath of Harkány is located in a picturesque surrounding at the piedmont of the Mount Villány. It is one of the most favourite resort areas of the County of Baranya and also the entire country. The curative powers of the water, the advantageous geographical location and the nearly Mediterranean type of climate always had an important role in the development of the settlement.

The area has a great history and is very rich in attractions. The town was built near two wine areas (Villány-Siklós Borút, Fehér Borút) and the two thousand-year-old town of Pécs and has been changing ever since.

The Bath of Harkány has been taking care of and curing its guests for over 180 years. (You can find an introduction of the history of Harkány in our Gallery!)

Harkány is a real family bathing place. The body, as well as the soul can find here what it needs. 5 pools with a water surface of 4800 square metres are there for the guests, which in summer have a temperature of °C 26-33, while in winter a constant temperature of °C 33-35 - irrespective of the weather. Among the pools you can find sports pools, pools for kids and also indoors pools.

The most typical element of the thermal bath of Harkány is the carbon-oxysulphide, which has a great activity level in terms of biology. The water contains it in gas condition. This medicinal water is the only in the whole world, which contains this compound.

Curative power: to treat kinematical diseases, diseases of periarthritis, broken bones, after-treatment of accidents, operations, gynaecological problems, lympoedema (limb oedema due to defective lymphatic circulation) and psoriasis. As a drink therapy it is good for the gastritis, acute colitis and deficiency of peristalsis.

In the bath area also an adventure bath operates. Its services: sauna (steam room), tanning salon, reflex massage, refreshing massage, refreshing salon, bubble bath, relaxation bath and Jacuzzi.

The parents, while they are enjoying our services, can leave their kids at the children's pool, where qualified pedagogues will look after them. Besides the indoor leisure area with a size of over five thousand square metres, there are 20 restaurants, 15 buffets and also 60 shops and service providers.
